Excellent place. Our stay was most enjoyable,. Dawsons is not only a very beatiful and stylish place, staff was also very friendly, making sure to guarantee a top class stay. We enjoyed the sports and game drives. We highly reccomend a holiday at Dawsonson and look forward to going back when we visit a South Africa again.

Beautiful lodge with colonial vibes and stunning mountain views. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and spa facilities. Hiking/biking trails were a thrilling adventure. However, the food was a disappointment, maybe the chef was on permanent vacation?

Outdoor Excitement: I had an absolute blast exploring the hiking trails around the lodge. It was like stepping into a wild animal documentary, with zebras and giraffes roaming freely. Feeling like a true adventurer!

No Room WiFi: Unfortunately, my room didn't have WiFi, and the network coverage was also limited. Luckily, the staff was accommodating and provided me access to another room with network access.

I always stay at a lodge in Badplaas. The staff helped me with bags the first time. The lodge suits me well with free Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen facilities, TV, laundry, hiking. Coming back soon for another trip.

The rooms had an old world charm with beautiful views of the valley. The staff, especially Myna and Lerato, were attentive and made sure all our needs were met. The food was superb, with candlelit dinners adding a special touch. The surroundings were great for fishing and hiking, and the spa center offered a relaxing break. The lodge's location, just a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg, made it easily accessible for a family getaway.

For families with young children, it would be great to have more activities specifically catered to them.

My stay at this lodge was absolutely amazing! I was in need of some peaceful alone time, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a separate room. The service was exceptional, with well-trained and friendly staff who were always on point with every request. The food was delicious, and the accommodation was not only spacious but also very clean. The lodge itself had a unique and stylish decor, creating an atmosphere of understated elegance and warmth. The beautiful views and the various trails added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for a rejuvenating getaway.
